Sunday School

Our Sunday School classes are open to all members and visitors.
  Sunday School is held every Sunday from 9:15 A.M. - 10:15 A.M.

We invite all, regardless of age, to join our fellowship and search for God's direction in our daily living.

NURSERY I

Lesson:

Teachers: Carol Grim

This class is for Early Childhood Development with infants up to 2 yrs. We focus on learning to share and following instructions.

NURSERY II   2 & 3 Year Olds

Lesson:

Teachers: Barb Wood

The children like to do the work sheet by coloring, pasting and using stickers.

We have a Bible verse each week and they pretend to find it in the Bible and repeat it with other children.

The children are always ready to sing their favorite songs.  They are really anxious each week to take their turn getting and passing the Bible to their friends.

Our class enjoys finding our Bible stories in our Bibles and acting them out.  We also like to draw, sing and do active games related to our lesson.

KINDERGARTEN  4 & 5 Year Olds

Lesson:

Teacher:

We will talk about three kinds of good news:

(1) Jesus is Born

(2) Jesus is God’s Son

(3) Jesus Loves Me

The children enjoy their Bible Stories – listening to them, using flannel board figures, and acting out the stories.  They enjoy related games and learning activities, and crafts each week.

PRIMARY  1st & 2nd Grades

Lesson:

Teacher: Lorraine Singer

Students will discover what God is like as they learn how they can be a part of God’s plans, and ways God’s power protects them and helps them.

Students enjoy participating in activities related to the Bible story; games, crafts and drama.

MIDDLER CLASS  3rd & 4th Grades

Lesson:

Teachers: Sallie & Todd Bingaman

The students will discover ways of getting to know and love God. This study will also develop confidence in God’s wisdom and power and be motivated to show God’s love in attitude and action.

They have worship time after each lesson. Occasionally we enjoy singing, acting out plays and inviting special guests to be a part of the lesson.  The children are also encouraged to share their music abilities on various instruments.

JUNIOR DEPT.  5th & 6th Grades

Lesson:

Teachers: Lori Kolaric

Jesus’ birth fulfilled the Old Testament prophecies of a Messiah and provides a way of salvation for all people. God’s Word acts as a mirror to show us how to live. When we confess our sins, God promises to forgive us and help us make a fresh start.

Students enjoy crafts that coordinate with the seasons and holidays. We play Bible Trivia when time allows at the end of the lesson. They are challenged in memorizing Bible verses and receive gifts to encourage learning the verses.  The students also participate in outreach projects.

HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH  7th through 12th Grades

Lesson:

Teacher:

Creative discussion about many of the issues youth face today.

CONGENIAL  Adults of all ages

Lesson:

What the word of God says about various life issues, and how to employ them in our witness to a lost and dying world.

We are a discussion group of today’s events and how they affect us and how the Bible relates to these events and how the Bible puts them into perspective. We also enjoy looking out for and praying for each other.
