Great Commission

Jesus said, "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations,
 
baptizing the in the name of the Father and the Son and the

Holy Spirit."  Matthew 28:19.

These last words of Jesus to the eleven disciples are usually referred to as the Great Commission.  We could also call them "Christ's Vision for His Church", for the Lord was telling us, the church, to continue His work here on earth.  He empowered us, and entrusted us with the Holy Spirit, so that we could share faith in Christ with those who have not experienced new life in Him.  This is what he has called His church to do.
