Eternal Life Garden

The Eternal Life Memorial Garden, after many years of planning, was dedicated at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday November 5, 2006.

The purpose of the "Garden" is to honor the memory of loved ones who have gone home to be with our Lord.  The Garden may also be a place of interment for those who choose cremation.  In either case, the placement of a memorial brick is an outward way of expressing our memory of a loved one while keeping them close in our hearts.

The Garden is an extension of the church's ministry offering a place to remember, meditate and pray with the Saints of the Church.  It is located next to the Bethel that continues to be an important part of our spiritual heritage.

The Garden offers a peaceful setting for the remembrance of our members, their immediate family, and those whom have worshiped with us.  The Garden is designed to offer a welcome setting for all who come to remember their loved ones, to meditate, rest and pray.

Eligibility:
The Garden is offered to the members of the church and their immediate families, and to those who fellowshipped with the church.

Application:
Applications for a memorial brick are available in the Church office or through a download from this web site.

Operating Regulations:

  • Interment of ashes requires the presence of the Pastor and a Trustee or Elder.
  • No containers will be allowed, and no scattering of ashes is permitted.  Ashes will be turned into the soil.  No record of interment location will be kept.  The Memorial Garden is Church Property and is a non-commercial venture.  It is not a cemetery.  Lots are not sold nor deeds issued.
  • Memorial bricks can be purchased in advance and will be placed in the garden to coincide with the Worship Service for All Saints, generally on the first Sunday in November.

Fees:
There is a set fee to cover the cost of the memorial brick.  Interment in the Garden is an extension of ministry to our church members, as such, no set fee is charged.  However, members and friends of the church are encouraged to contribute toward the cost of maintaining the Garden.

Dedication of New Memorials:
Annually, new memorial bricks will be acknowledged on or about All Saints, generally on the first Sunday in November.
